American Samoa Harbors
American Samoa is a U.S. territory covering seven South Pacific islands and atolls. Tutuila, the largest island, is home to the capital Pago Pago, whose natural harbor is framed by volcanic peaks. eTrac was contracted to mobilize a local vessel with multibeam survey equipment and traverse multiple islands, collecting data in Faleasao, Ofu and Ta’u harbors. Remote surveys are a specialty at eTrac, adapting our equipment to vessels-of-opportunity to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and incorporate local support to produce high quality data and deliverables.
